On December 12, 1971, the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Guadalupe, Patroness of Mexico and Empress of America, the first Province was established in Central America, with the name of ” El Divino Salvador “.

At 10:00 am on December 12, the community met, the act of erection was read, and the appointments of the Provincial Government were announced. The community sang the Te Deum and then went to pay their respects to the Provincial Elect Mother. At 12:00, Rev. Eduardo Orellana presided over the Eucharistic celebration. His homily was a hymn of thanksgiving for the spiritual and material goods that the Lord has bestowed on Central American lands, through the testimony of the sisters and their service to the Church through the apostolates they were carrying out at that time: education and health.
