Novitiate
The purpose of this stage is for the novice to better understand her vocation, confirm her call to this Congregation, experience our way of life and form her mind and heart in the light of faith, the great values of evangelical commitment within Franciscan spirituality and Congregational (cf. CCGG 155)
In our spirituality we follow Christ poor and humble, overwhelmed in the Incarnation and in the Crucifixion; this reality leads us to discover Christ in the destitute and helpless brother (cf. CCGG 2). Our Founding Father Fray José del Refugio Morales had the ideal of life to become the perfect image of Jesus Christ, for this reason he said to the first sisters: “You must be a soul thirsty for perfection, the perfect image of Jesus Christ, if you want to wear the crown imperial glory” (PNPF III, 21)
