Principles

Evangelical

“Created in the image of God, according to the model of his Divine Son by whom we were redeemed, and sanctified by his Spirit” (CC1984, 19), we have all been called to holiness in authentic personal conversion to the evangelical values of love, mercy , forgiveness, justice, peace, freedom, truth, and an intense life of prayer, among others (cf. Mt 5. 25, 31-46; PNPF VI, 15).

Marians

The Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of the Congregation, in her dedication to the Immaculate Conception, is a model of purity, poverty and obedience to the will of the Father, welcoming and meditating on his Word, and under her maternal gaze we want to live the evangelical ideal of communion fraternal, cooperating with Her in the salvation of the world (cf. CC1984, 14-15; CC2008, 14 and 15).

Franciscans

Saint Francis, wanting to live the Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, carried out an intense apostolic life starting from renunciation, availability for the kingdom of God and the free announcement of the message of salvation (cf. 2R 1, 1; RTOR 1). .

The Founding Father, Fray José del Refugio Morales Córdova, OFM being faithful to Franciscan spirituality and inspired by the Holy Spirit, imprinted in the Congregation a concrete way of living the Gospel so that, preserving, sustaining and spreading the great values of life consecrated, we respond to the needs of the people of God, in the practice of works of mercy, and Franciscan values: fraternity, minority, poverty, joy, peace, and harmony with nature (cf. CC1984, 9; CC2008, 9).
